A review of some of the most popular Toad car alarms available in the UK with information about specifications.

Ai606 Toad car alarm is Thatcham cat 1 insurance approved and has all the standard features such as; door, bonnet and boot protection, ultrasonic interior protection, 2 circuit immobilisation, a self powered siren and distress alert, remote control central locking, system override, headlight operation and vehicle dependent window and sunroof close. Ai606 Toad car alarms come with a pair of remotes so if you have key operated central locking you can now lock and unloc via the remote contol.

850T Toad car alarm is also Thatcham catrgory 1 that utilises the vehicle manufacturer's own remote keys to arm and disarm the system, this alarm is not suitable for all vehicles because your existing remote control must be high security to meet Thatcham standards so that thieves cannot capture the radio signal.

C5T Toad car alarm is a compact Thatcham cat1 which fits well if you have a small car because the unit is small enough to hide almost anywhere making it very difficult for a thief to find and interfere with it.

C4T Toad car alarm is a compact Thatcham cat1 upgrade designed for vehicles already fitted with a cat2 immobiliser. If you have a newer UK specification car it will probably be factory fitted with a cat2 immobiliser so all you need is an alarm system that integrates with the existing immobiliser to bring the vehicle up to full cat1 alarm and immobiliser.

Toad car alarms has led the way in innovative car security design since its launch in 1994 and offer the latest insurance approved technology to help protect your vehicle, plus a range of interchangeable remote cases for you to change your remote to suit your style, or the colour of your car.
